WARNING: CHEMICAL CONTENT NOTICE!
The solder used in the production of this product contains LEAD. In addition, other electrical/electronic and/or
plastic (where applicable) components may also contain traces of chemicals found by the California Health and
Welfare Agency (and possibly other entities) to cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm.
DO NOT PLACE SOLDER, ELECTRICAL/ELECTRONIC OR PLASTIC COMPONENTS IN YOUR MOUTH I'OR
ANY REASON WHATSOEVER!
Avoid prolonged, Linprotected contact between solder and your skin! When soldering, do not inhale solder fumes
or expose eyes to solder/flux vapor!
If you come in contact with solder or components located inside the enclosure of this product, wash your hands
before handling food.
About lead-free solder I mfiai-Il \/ 5: Di»?
The foil side ofMAlN P.C.B., FL PCB. and SUB P.C.B. used
for the DVRVSZOO are soldered with leadrfree soldering ma
terial which is an alloy of Sn+Ag+Cu (tin + silver + copper).
For the soldering points other than the above, lead solder is
used.
Among some types of leadrfree solder currently available, it
is recommended to Lise one of the following types for the
repair work.
~ Sn + Ag + Cu (tin + silver + copper)
~ Sn + Cu (tin + copper)
- Sn + Zn + Bi (tin + zinc + bismuth)
Caution:
1. As the melting p0int temperature of the leadrfree solder
is about 300C to 40C (50F to 70F) higher than that of
the lead solder, be sure to use a soldering iron suitable to
each solder.
2. If lead solder must be used, be sure to remove leadrfree
solder from each terminal section of the parts to be re
placed and from the area around itcorripletely before sole
dering, or make sure that the lead free solder and lead
solder melt together fully.
