IMPORTANT: Turn the unit QFF during disassembly and parts replacement. Recheck afl work before you apply power to the
unit.

LITHIUM BATTERY HANDLING

This product uses a lithium battery for memory back-up.

WARNING: Lithium batteries are dangerous because they can be exploded by improper handling. Observe the following
precautions when handling or replacing lithium batteries.

0 Leave lithium battery replacement to qualified service personnel,
0 Always replace with batteries of the same type.
0 When installing on the PC board by soldering, solder using the connection terminals provided on the battery cells.
0 Never solder directly to the cells. Perform the soldering as quickly as possible.
0 Never reverse the battery polarities when installing.
0 Do not short the batteries.
0 Do not attempt to recharge these batteries.
0 Do not disassemble the batteries.
0 Never heat batteries or throw them into fire.
