Uher & Martel take pride in being able to place at your service
a tape recorder of a very special kind -their Royal de Luxe models.
The Royal de Luxe embodies all the technical experience and know-
how accumulated by Uher over long years of development work as a
specialized factory.

Operating upright, horizontal or at an angle, the recorders newly
designed tape transport mechanism is outstanding for its extremely
smooth transportation of the tape. The tape tension comparator
insures constant tension along the entire length of the tape, thereby
securing a stability of tape speed hitherto unsurpassed in home
studio recorders. The Royal de Luxe serves not only for monaural
and stereophonic record and playback, but can also be used to pro-
duce trick effects. Its built-in Dia-Pilot triggers a change of slides in.
automatic slide projectors without the need for further accessories.

The use of interchangeable head mounts makes it possible to
change between four-track and two-track operation with- only a few
hand motions.

Owing to its sophisticated constructional design, the UHER Royal
de Luxe is extremely simple to handle despite its tremendous ver-
satility, and excellent results are obtained with the greatest of ease.
