I BEFORE REPAIR AND ADJUSTMENT

(1) Turn all the power supply. Using a 100. 10 W resistor, shortcircuit both ends oi power supply capacitors (0601, 0602. 0607

and 0608) in order to discharge the voltage.
(2) Belore turning on the power switch ol the unit.
A. Connect the voltage controller to the primary side. J

B. Connect the AC ampere meter to the primary side or connect the DC voltage meter to me "18" circuit at the secondary

Side.

Ct Turn the VR of ICC (VR401. VR402. VR403 and VR404) to minimum (oounterclockwisel
D. Alter setting the output to zero or the voltage controller. turn on the power switch at the unit.

And increase the output ol voltage controller gradually.

Then. cheat carefully whether the current value or primry side become more than lotlowing value or whether the DC

voltage ol secondary side is increasing slowly.

E. It the value at current is increasing unusually or the DC voltage is not increasing. tower the output level of voltage

controller immedialety.

nThe current value of the primary side at no signal. (Confinh the power supply voltage of each area and provided voltage of

the unit.)

I PROTECTION CIRCUITRY

The protection circuitry of the arnplllier may have operated it either ol
lhe tollowing conditions is noticed:

INo sound is heard when the power is turned on.

OSwnd stops during a performance.

The l'unaion cl this circuitry is to prevent circuitry damage it. lor
example. the positive and negative speaker connection wires are
shorted", or it speaker systems with an impedance less than the
indicated rated impedance at the amplifier are used.

If this occurs. lollow the procedure outlined below:

1. Turn all the power.

2. Determine the cause at the problem and correct it.
3. Turn on me power once again.

Note:
When the protection circuitry lunctions, the unit will not operate
unless the power is first turned on and then on again.
