INFORMATION SHEET FOR SME TONEARM 3009-11

We recommend that you use the SME tonearm 3009-n to recieve optimum performance
from the SL-I l0 DIRECT DRIVE PLAYER SYSTEM.

The followings are the assembly of SME toneerm 3009-11 with the SL-l IO.

.Remove the arm panel from the player case.(8 screws).

.Superimpose the printed template on the arm panel and spike the centres of the two l-l/S'
diameters and the tour 3/6-5' diameter holes.

0 Drill two holes 1-1/8" diameter and cutaway the intermediate section to form the slot.

0 Drill the {our 3/64" diameter holes.

. Route the SME audio lead through the rubber grommet in the back of the chassis. To prevent
accidental withdrawal. the lead can be anchored to the pillar at the rear of the chassis with a
piece of tape.

.Connect the ground wire to the internal ground as indicated.

The external terminals at the rear 0! the chassis are left unconnected.

.Mount the tonearm on the arm panel.(-l wood screws).

.Connect the audio lead to the tonearm.

.Re-lit the arm panel to the player case.(8 screws).

*Proeeed with the other adjustments to the arm detailed in the instructions.
