Sound field/tone quality operations/ other functions

Using the seat position function El

OThis function lets you adjust the listening position for better effect.
OWith SC-EH750. this mode can only be turned on or off if the [SEAT
POSITION] lamp is orange (- page 31). The mode cannot be used
it the lamp is off.
With SC-EH550, this mode can only be used when Virtual Dolby
Surround is on.

[I Press [SEAT POSITION].
The [SEAT POSITION] lamp flashes green.
While the indicator is flashing change the seat position.

Within 10 seconds
Adjust the seat position.

To turn off the SEAT POSITION mode
Press [SEAT POSITION] once to select the function and once again
to turn it off while the lamp flashes.

With the remote control

1. Press [AV EFFECT].

2. Press [4] or [b] so the [SEAT POSITION] lamp flashes.

3. Press [A] (ON).

4. Press [4], [b]. [V], or [A] to adjust the seat position.

To turn it off, after steps 1 and 2, press [V] (OFF).

1. Press [SEAT POSITION] so the [SEAT POSITION] lamp flashes.
2. Press [4] or [H to adjust the seat positlon.

To turn it oft. press [SEAT POSITION] so the [SEAT POSITION]
lamp goes out.

Owhen used with vlrtual rear surround (SG-EH750 only), seat posi-
tion is changed In a horizontal steps.
IWith SC-EH550, seat position is changed in 5 horizontal steps.
With virtual rear surround Sc-EH550

Concerning the display

The sound processor shows the level of each sound range with the
three types of display described below. E3

Press [DISPLAY MODE].
The spectrum display will change as follows.

m Normal display
This display indicates the strength of the sound in each tonal
range.

E Peak-hold display
The peak sound value of each sound range is held on the dis-
play tor about one second after it occurs.

E] Aurora display
The peak sound value of each sound range is displayed in in-
verted form.
