Important

THE WIRES IN THIS MAINS LEAD ARE COLOURED IN AC-
CORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING CODE.

BLUE: NEUTRAL

BROWN: LlVE

As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this unit may not
correspond with the coloured markings identifying the
terminals in your plug, proceed as follows. The wire which is
coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter N or coloured BLACK.

The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured RED.

This apparatus was produced to 85-800: 1977.

For your safety

To ensure safe operation the three-pin plug supplied must be
inserted only into a standard three-pin power point which is
effectively earthed through the normal h0usehold wiring. Exten-
slon cords used with the unit must be three-core and be correctly
wired to provide connection to earth. Wrongly wired extension
cords are a major cause of fatalities.

The fact that the unit operates satisfactorily does not imply that
the power point is earthed and that the installation is completely
safe. For your sfaty, if in any doubt about the effective earthing of
the power point, consult a qualified electrician.
