Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. 8 D o n o t i n s t a l l n e a r a n y h e a t s o u r c e s s u c h as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat. 9 D o n o t d e f e a t t h e s a f e t y p u r p o s e o f t h e polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet. 10 Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. 11 Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer. 1 2 Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, o r t a b l e s p e c i f i e d b y t h e m a n u f a c t u r e r, o r sold with the apparatus. When a car t is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over. 13 Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time. 14 Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, t h e a p p a r a t u s h a s b e e n e x p o s e d to r a i n o r moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped. D o n o t e x p o s e t h i s a p p a r a t u s t o d r i p s o r - splashes. D o n ot p lace any o bj e c t s f ill e d w ith liqui ds , - such as vases, on the apparatus. Do not install this apparatus in a confined space - such as a book case or similar unit. The apparatus draws nominal non- operating - p ower f rom the AC outlet with it s POWER or STANDBY/ON switch not in the ON position. The apparatus should be located close enough - to the AC outlet so that you can easily grasp the power cord plug at any time. T h e m a i n s p l u g i s u s e d a s t h e d i s c o n n e c t - device; the disconnect device shall remain read - ily operable. I f t h e p r o d u c t u s e s b a t t e r i e s ( i n c l u d i n g a - battery pack or installed batteries), they should not be exposed to sunshine, f ire or excessive heat. C AU T I O N f o r p r o du c t s th at us e r e p l a ce a b l e - lithium batteries: there is danger of explosion if a battery is replaced with an incorrect type of battery. Replace only with the same or equiva - lent type. Caution should be taken when using earphones - o r h e a d p h o n e s w i t h t h e p r o d u c t b e c a u s e e x c e s s i v e s o u n d p r e s s u r e ( v o l u m e ) f r o m earphones or headphones can cause hearing loss.
