TASCAM MP-GT1 Precautions for placement and use TheMP-GT1 maybeused inmost areas, buttomaintain top performance, andprolong operating life,observe the following notes,precautions andenvironmental condi - tions: Avoid exposing itto extremes oftemperature and humidityandavoid mechanical shocksandvibration. Keep theunit away fromstrong magnetic fields(TV sets,computer monitors, largeelectric motors, etc.). Thenominal temperature shouldbebetween 0°Cand 40°C (32°F and104°F). Relative humidity shouldbe30 to80 percent. - - - - As the unit may become hotduring operation, always leavesufficient spaceabove theunit forventilation. Do not install thisunit inaconfined spacesuchasa bookcase, anddonot putanything ontop ofthe unit. Avoid installing thisunit ontop ofany heat-generat - ingelectrical devicesuchasapower amplifier. Makesurethattheunit ismounted inalevel position forcorrect operation. Thevoltage supplied tothe unit should match the voltage asprinted onthe rear panel. Beware of condensation Ifthe unit ismoved fromacold toawarm place, orused after asudden temperature change,there isadanger ofcondensation; vaporinthe aircould condense onthe internal mechanism, makingcorrect operation impossible.
