TANDBERG
DC/AC INVERTER 111
The "Tandberg Instrumentation Tape Recorder Series 100" is designed for portability
as well as for stationary use. The demand for a DC/AC Inverter used with the Series
100 was early known, and the DC/AC Inverter 111 was specially designed for operating
one Tandberg Instrumentation Tape Recorder Series 100 and one Tandberg Sync Unit
110 simultaneously.
The DC/AC Inverter 111 is small and rugged with a design matching the Series 100
recorder. Simple operation and protection against overvoltage is provided. The
inverter can easily be changed from 12 V to 24 V DC operation.
The output voltage can be set to match the voltage setting on the recorder. This elimi-
nates the need for operating the mains change-over switch on the recorder each time
the inverter is to be used. In this way the inverter is adapted to the operating voltage
of the Tandberg Instrumentation Tape Recorder Series 100.
