ELLIPTICAL STYLUS

The conventional andmost easily manufac-
tured stylus is Spherically shaped. Hewever,
the stylus in this cartridge has been fabricated
to an elliptical cross section. This gives it

greatly improved response particularly at high
frequencies.

or portablel-the 680EL and the 680AL.

Using a bread range of technologies, Stanton
has designed these cartridges to meet the very.
real needs of disco-to deliver high quality
audio under the sometimes severe stresses of
back cueing, slip cueing, high tracking forces,
vibration and possible mishandling. Actually,
they are ruggedized versions of one of the
finest sounding cartridges Stanton has ever
developed.

RECORD CARE

Always clean your records just before use.
Very dusty records can be rinsed well in luke-
warm water and dried by blotting with paper
towels. Avoid soaking the label. To preserve»
your records, always store them in their
jackets, and to avoid warping, stack upright.

STYLUS TIP CARE

Dust will inevitably accumulate on the stylus
tip even under the cleanest conditions. It can
be removed by a gentle brushing forward with
a camels hair, or similar brush.
