The Spendor 5 series loudspeakers feature many innovations.
Linear flow port technology for non-turbulent low frequency air
flow and predictable bass response, Spendor e' drive units with
stiff, light internally damped ep38 polymer cones for ultra low
colouration, and dynamically damped cabinets which reduce

The Spendor C9e is a no-compromise design. It has the resolution
and dynamic range to convey the full impact of movie action and

dialogue and it will reveal the subtleties and ambience of fine 2

multi-channel music recordings. Optimum low frequency
alignment, powerful drive unit motors, a sealed bass enclosure
and acoustically isolating non-slip feet ensure that the deep
extended bass (-6dB at 30Hz) always remains clean and
controlled. The six-sided cabinet with 3 individual matching grilles
minimizes the visual impact of this serious' loudspeaker whilst
allowing the midrange drive unit and tweeter to be positioned
clear of nearby sound reflecting screens or shelves. For custom
installations the cabinet can be permanently installed via four

substantial M8 mounting points. All four drivers are totally

screened to avoid any interaction with magnetically sensitive

screens or equipment. With massive power handling (up to 250
watts), high efficiency (88dB), heavy duty bi-wirable gold plated
terminals and an easy to drive Bohm load the C9e is guaranteed
to deliver a fabulous sound with any modern multi-channel
amplifier.
