1-2. PRESET TUNNING

You can preset up to #0 AM and FM stations

Preset a station while the MEMORY Indicator blinks luv to seconds.

Presettlng the Stations

0n operation

. When you press the + or - button for more than half a
second. the automatic tuning begins, and then stops automati-
cally when a station is received.

° To stop automatic tuning, press the + or - button again.

- When scanning reaches the end oithe band during automatic
tuning, it will return to the other side of the band and continue
to scan.

0 The STEREO indicator appears on the display when receiving
a stereo broadcast on the band.

Notes

- The automatic tuning iuncticn may occasionally miss the best setting
iora radio station. in this happens. press the + or - button to adjust
thetuning.

- You should remove the cassette tape it it has a metallic cassette shell
or labels. Such cassettes may cause tnterterence or dilliculty in
tuning.

To improve Receiving Condition

FM Since the headphone or earphone-cortiswerves as an FM
antenna, extend it tor better reception.

AM Since the reception is afiected by the direction oithe un
rotate the unit horizontally ior optimum reception.

To Improve FM Sensitivity
Use the FM SENS or FM MODE selector.

For Normally set to DX. It a very strong statton signal

WM-AF65 causes noiseI set to LOCAL. The noise Will be reduced.

For Normally set to FM ST. When it is hard to hear the

WM-BF65 broadcast due to noise. set to MONO. The reception
Will be more stable and noise will be reduced. In this
mode. there is no stereo ettect.
