2. Demagnemze the record/playback head With a REW CQ-ZOIB (069 oz'inch or more)
head demagnetizerl (Do not bring the head
demagnetizer close to the erase head.)

3. Do not use a magnetized screwdriver for the
adjustments. Mode Tension Meter Meter Reading
4. After the adjustments, apply suitable locking FWD CQ~403A 70 0 200 g
. (2.47 to 7.05 oz)
compound to the parts adJusted.

5. The adjustments should be performed with the
rated power supply voltage (6 V) unless other-
wise noted.
