The SONY Model TC-377 is a three-head, four-track stereo tape
deck designed for serious home recordists. The highly developed
facilities of the TC-377 will offer a new world of sound when
used in conjunction With high fidelity components.

Special features are: SONY high performance F&F (Ferrite 81
Ferrite) heads: Microphone level attenuation switch; scrape
filter which eliminates tape modulation distortion ; tape tension
regulator to reduce wow and flutter; Automatic shut-off mo-
chanism; Tape select switch for low-noise. high-output tapes:
microphone and line mixing; sound»on-sound recording: echo
recording; slant cabinet designed for convenience of operation
in either horizontal or vertical position, etc.

PRECAUTIONS

1. Before operating, check whether the recorder is correctly set
to operate on the AC power line of your local area.

2. The Microphone inputs and Line inputs of this tape recorder
can be used simultaneously for mixing.
To record only through the Microphone inputs, turn off the
Record volume controls LINE-L and LINE-R to MIN; and vice
versa.

3. Do not connect any input source to the Microphone inputs
(and be sure to set the Microphone level attenuation switch
at OFF) when the Record/Playback connector is being used

l. Avant de faire fonctionner le magnétophone, s'assurer quil
est bien fixé pour la tension du secteur de la zone oIJ vous
vous trouvez.

2. Les prises du microphone et les entrées de ligne de ce
magnétophone peuvent étre utilisées simultanément pour le
mélange. Pour enregistrer a l'aide des prises de micro-
phone; placer sur MIN les réglages de volume d'enregistrement
de ligne gauche [LINE-L] et de ligne droite [LINE-R] et vice-
versa.

1. Vor Inbetriebnahme prijfen Sie bitte nach, ob das Gerat fIL'Ir
Betrieb auf die ortliche Netzspannung richtig eingastellt ist.

2. Die Mikrofon-und die Direkteingange konnen bei diesem Ger'at
gleichzeitig fiir Mischaufnahmen verwendet werden.
Um nur iiber die Mikrofoneing'ainge aufzunehman, die Auf-
nahmepegelregler [LINE-L], [LINER] ganz gegen dem Uhr-
zeigersinn nach MIN drehen, und umgekehrt.

3. Beim Aufnehmen iiber den Aufnehme-/WiedergabeanschluB
keine Klangquelle an die Mikrofoneinginge anschlieBen (und
den Dimpfungsschelter fi.ir Mikrofonpegel auf OFF stellen).
