Connections (See fig. I)

Connect the system to the source equipment.

To connect the system to a stereo phone-type
headphones jack, use the optional Sony connecting
cord RK-G13B.

when the system is connected to a monaural
jack of a radio, etc., the sound may not come
through the right speaker. In such a case, use the
optional Sony plug adaptor PC-236M S. The sound
will come through both speakers,

How to Use (See fig. 51)

1 Rotate the speakers as illustrated.

2 Rotate the stand 90° and lock it in place.

3 Set the system on a flat surface.

4 Set the POWER switch to ON.
The POWER indicator lights up. You can adjust
the volume by adjusting the connected source
equipment.

After listening

Set the POWER switch to OFF/DIRECT. The POWER
indicator goes off.

To operate this system without the built-
in power amplifier

Set the POWER switch to OFF/DIRECT.

Note

Turn off the WALKMANs M EGA BASS or Discman's
BASS BOOSI'function as they may cause sound
distortion.

Connexions (Voir fig. m)
Raccorder ie systeme a I'appareil source.

Pour raccorder le systéme a one prise de casque
stéréo 6,35, utiliser Ie cordon de liaison optionnel
Sony RK-6138.

Quand |e systeme est raccordé a la prise
monophonique d'une radio on (fun autre
appareil, Ie son risque de ne pas sortir oar Ie haut»
parleur droit. Dans ce cas, utiliser Iadaptateur de
fiche optionnel Sony PC-236M 5. Le son sortira des
deux haut»parleurs.

Ut satlon (Voir fig. E1)

1 Faire tourner Ies haut-parleurs comme indique
sur I'illustration.

2 Faire tourner Ie pied a 90° et ie verrouille dans
cette position.

3 Poser Ie systeme sur une surface plane.

4 Régier I'interru pteur POW ER sur ON.
Le témoin POW ER s'aliume. Vous pouvez
régler ie volume au moyen des commandes de
I'appareii source raccordé.

Aprés l'écoute

Régler i'interrupteur POW ER sur OFF/DIRECT. Le

témoin POW ER s'éteint.

Pour fairve fonctionner ce systeme sans
l'amp cateur de puissance intégré
Régler i'interrupteur POWER sur OFF/DIRECT.
Remarque

Desactiver Ia fonction M EGA BASS du WALKMAN ou
la fonction BASS BOOST du Discman car elles
pourraient provoquer de la distorsion.

ConeXIones (Consulte fig. El)

Conecte el sistema al equipo fuente.

Para conectar el sistema a una toma para
auriculares de tipo estéreo, utilice un cable
conector RK»Gl38 Sony opcional.

Si conecta Ios altavoces a una toma monoaural
de one radio, etc., es oosible que el sonido no saiga
a través del canal derecho. En tal caso, utilice un
adaptador de clavija PC-236M S Sony opcional. E|
sonido saldra a través de ambos altavoces.

Forma de utilizacién

(Consulte fig. El)

1 Gire Ios altavoces como se muestra en la
ilustracion.

2 Gire el soporte 90° y bloquéeio.

3 Coloque el sistema sobre una superficie plana.

4 Ponga el interruptor POWER en ON.
Se encendera ei indicador POWER. Usted
podra aiustar el voiumen en el equipo fuente
conectado.

Después de la escucha
Ponga el interruptor POW ER en OFF/DIRECT. E|
indicador POWER se aoagaré.

Para utilizar este sistema sin el
amplificador de potencia incorporado
Ponga el interruptor POW ER en OFF/DIRECT.

Nota

Desactive Ia funcidn M EGA BASS del WALKMAN o
BASS BOOST del Discman, ya que podrra producir
distorsion.
