PRECAUTIONS

SERVICING NOTE

OChannels 5803 MHz, 6.207 MHz, 11503 MHz, 11.958 MHz and
21.870 MHz may be diflicult to receive due to internal spurious Flexible Circuit Board Repairing
signals generated by the built-in oscillators

Using the HOLD switch
This switch deactivates the following buttons.

Band select buttons: FM, MW, LW", SW1, SW21-10 and SW179

POWER OFF' button
It is convenient to prevent accidental power on while carving the
radio, or to hold the active band during reception

0 Keep the temperature of the soldering iron around
270°C during repairing.

0 Do not touch the soldering iron on the same con-
ductor of the circuit board (within 3 times)

0 Be careful not to apply force on the conductor
when soldering or unsoldering.

Notes on chip component replacement

0 Never reuse a disconnected chip component,
0 Notice that the minus side of a tantalum capacitor
may be damaged by heat.
