The ideal tape recorder for the newsman or interviewer in the field, the new SONY Tapecorder EM-2N is a fully transistor-
ized, lightweight unit that uses standard, inexpensive batteries to drive the tape transport as well as power [the electronic
system. A unique DC servo motor guarantees extremely steady tape speed with minimum wow and flutter, while the counter-
balancing flywheel permits highly stable operation in recording even while walking or in moving vehicles.
