compact, and can be fine-tuned to individual needs. Why then, do
so many subwoofers sound boomy? Most sell-off quality for a
big woofer and more Watts. They use cheaply made vinyl boxes,
losing texture and detail for shake and quake The Snell Basis
300 features an extremely tight, long throw 10-inch woofer, with
a neo magnet and cast frame. Its total excursion is nearly an
inch! Coupled with a 300 watt amplifier and a very sophisticated
cabinet, the 8300 is deep, tight, and blends seamlessly to the
front speakers.
