GUIDE FOR AN IMMEDIATE
UTILIZATION OF THE OK 70

GUIDA PER L'USO IMMEDIATO
DEL SINTETIZZATORE OK 70

First of all check that the line voltage is in accordance with
local voltage. To switch on the OK 70 connect the cable of
the external power supply to the 12V socket on the rear of
the instrument and then plug in the power card.

For battery backup, insert 8 x 1.5 V batteries into the battery
compartment on the bottom of the instrument (we suggest
DURACELL MN 14(1) or equivalent).

In this case it is not necessary to connect the power supply
to the power socket.

Connect the 1/4" phone jack A to the input of an amplifier
for a monophonic connection; for a stereophonic connection
connect the 1/4" phone jack A/B OUTPUTS with the inputs
of two amplifiers or of a mixer.

The instrument may also be connected to stereo headphones
through the STEREO PHONES output. If needed. connect
the special optional pedal to the PEDAL socket.

To transform your OK 70 into a shoulder synth, you need the
optional STAGE SET; fix the special guitar type neck of the
STAGE SET to the instrument with the screws provided and
insert the connector into the socket placed on the rear of the
DK 70. Apply the shoulder belt and adjust it for the best
length.

The STAGE SET allows easy control of the main functions
for a perfect live performance.

Reduce DK 70s and amplifiers master volume knobs to zero.
Switch power on to both devices and set their volumes to an
acceptable level (usually the instruments volume should be
3/4 of maximum level).

Your OK 70 is now ready to be played. On power up the
instrument selects a musical timbre which you can play or
change by simply digiting the number of program desired on
the switch panel and then pressing ENTER.

Remember that the OK 70 features 50 timbres in memory.
but inserting the RAM. - R.O.M. cartridges loptionall into
the special compartment it is possible to expand your
instrument's memory up to maximum 100/ 150 different
timbres.

For detailed information on the utilization of the OK 70 and
its programming pessibilites we suggest you read the
owner's manual very carefully.

IMPORTANT: the instruments DISPLAY goes off
automatically after a few seconds in order to save the
batteries life length. To switch it on again, press any tab on
the PROGRAMMING UNIT section.

The «POWER BATTERY CHECK» LED blinks when the
batteries are near to complete discharge.

nell apposite vane sotto lo strumento n° 8 batterie da 1,5 V.
Alcaline tipo DURACELL MN1400 o equivalenti. In questo
caso non e necessario collegare alla press di rate
l'alimentatore fomito in dotazione.

Collegate la press 1/4" phone jack A nellentrata di un
amplificatore se lo strumento viene collegate in mode
monofonice eppure Ie prose 1/4" phone jack lA/B outpqu
nelIe entrate di due amplificatori e di un mixer audio se lo
strumento viene collegate in mode stereofonico.

Lo strumento pue essare anche collegato ad una cuffia
stereo tramite l'appesita uscita «STEREO PHONES».
Collegate, se necessario, I'apposito pedals opzionale nella
press «PEDAL».

Per utilizzare il OK 70 a tracolla e necessario utilizzare lo
«STAGE SET» opzionale; in questo case fissate lappesito
«manico» tipo chitarra dello STAGE SET al corpo dello
strumento utilizzando Ie apposite viti ed inserite il cennettore
nella sede che si trova sul retro dello strumento.

Applicate aI DK 701a tracolIa in dotazione allo «STAGE SET-
9 regolatene a piacere la lunghezze.

Lo STAGE SET vi permettera di utilizzare agevolmanta iI
controllo di pitch a sfioramento e la altre funzioni necessaria
per suonare cemodamente dal vive.

Posizionate i volumi del OK 70 e dell'amplificaziene a zero.
Accendete le due apparecchiature, posizionate il volume del
vostro impianto a dello strumento ad un Iivello accettabile
(usualmente Io strumento a non pitr di 3/4 del volume
massimol.

Le strumento a are pronto per essere suonato. Appena
ecceso, le strumento ha in memoria un qualsiesi timbre
musicale: provate a suenarlo. Per cambiare timbre
componete sulla tastiera numerica posts nella parts sinistra
un altre numero a vestro piacere lsceglietelo dallelenco dei
timbri allegatol e premete il taste ENTER. Lo strumento
suona era iI nuovo timbre prescelto. Ricordatevi che lo
strumento dispone di un totals di 50 timbri memorizzati, ma
inserendo nellapposito vane Ie cartucce RAM - ROM
opzionali e possibile ampliare la memoria fine ad un rrassime
di 100/150 timbri diversi.

BUON DIVERTIMENTO.

IMPORTANTE: Lo strumento e dotato di una funzione
automatica di spegnirnento del DISPLAY per rispamtiare i
commi nel case venga utilizzato con batterie; il Display si
spegnera dope qualche decina di secondi e si riaccendera
automaticamente prernendo un comendo qualsiasi della
sezlene PROGRAMMING UNIT.

II LED «POWERT BATTERY CHECK» iniziera a lampeggiare
nel case rimangano pochi minuti di funzionamente nella
batterie dello strumento.
