MP94E P-MOUNT INSTALLATION

1. Carefully remove the stylus from the cartridge,
2. lnsertthecartridgeintothesquareopeningatthe
end of the tonearm. See 11.

3. Insert and tighten the locking screw at the side oi
the cartridge.

4. It is usually not necessary to adjust the tracking
force and anti-skate settings on a P-mount
tonearm.

M94E STANDARD MOUNT INSTALLATION

1. Caretully remove stylus trom cartridge (see 2 ).
2. Connect wires trom headshell to pins on car-
tridge (see (3)). Use following table lorcorrect con-
nections. Note: To prevent ground loops" and
hum.do not connect commons (grounds) at these t-
erminals,

3. Mountcartridgeintheheadshellandreplacesty
lus (see 4 and (2)). Do not lorce. Note: Screws
can be threaded uptrom the bottom to provide max-
imum record clearance.

4. Make the following final adjustments. Consult
your turntable instructions where necessary.

Tracking Force: See Product Specifications.
Cartridge Overhang: It adjustable.
Anti-Skate: ll this adjustment is not specilied in
yourturntable instructions. use the same setting
as for tracking lorce.

Tonearm Height: ll adjustable.

MONOPHONIC PLAYBACK

For monophonic playback of recordings. the left and right channels should be connected in parallel. This
is accomplished most conveniently by setting the function switch on the associated preamplifier to A . 8"
or MONO." It the existing equipment has a single monophonic input. the two channels of the cartridge
should be paralleled and connected to this single input.

CARTRIDGE OPERATION STYLUS CLEANING

1. Make certain cartridge is correctly mounted in
tonearm and stylus is properly inserted in cartridge.

2. Protect stylus with stylus guard when dusting

turntable.

3. Regulate tonearm set-down to prevent stylus

UTILISATION DE LA CARTOUCHE

1 S'assuror que la cartouche est montee oorrecternent dans le
bras (1e lecture et que la pornte de lecture est bren inseree darts la
cartouche.

2 Proteger la pomle de lecture avec un protecteur pendant to net-
toyage de la ptatrne

3. Controter la deeoente du bras do lecture pour evrter que la pom -
to do lecture arrive our to rebord de la platlne ou du disque.

4 Ne pas manipuler le bras de lecture pendant la lecture dun dis-
uue. Utiliser lo love-bras le cas échéant
