Inside the burnished aluminum cover on the
back ol each earpiece is a double-layered
speaker housmg tilled with acoustical insula»
tion and designed to Iirmly hold the speaker
driver and isolate it from outside noise. This
lightweight. sturdy Sansw-exclusive construcv
tion (Pat. Pend.) is hermeticatly sealed to
provide further isolation for better sound.

Inner/Outer Earpad Arrangement

two-pan earpad arrangement in each earpiece

ally light is that its newlyoeSIQned. lull-range
speaker units have a superlight. yet solid
diaphragm made of speCially-treated SOu-Ihln
polyester lilm. Results include a very low we
tortion ligure (less than 1.0% total harmonic
distortion to inputs up to an ear-shattering
level oi 120dBl. The distortion Iactor is lower
still (0.15%) at the QOdB level at which we
usually listen to MUSIC. The elimination ol high-
ireouency resonance lurther improves
performance.

Very High Sensitivity/Efficiency
