Sansui RA-1000-turn your living room
into a concert hall,
movie theater, or discotheque.
What really gives music that you-are-
there realism is the amount of echo or
reverb you hear in the sound. A larger
amount of echo can make you feel like
you're sitting in a big hall or cathedral.
Smaller amounts create a discotheque-
like environment. Add echo to the sound
from your videos, and youve got your
own moviehouse-right in the home.
The Sansui IRA-1000 gives all the
concert hall realism you need, plus more.
You can make a solo artist sound like a
duo. Mix voice or guitar with the program
of your choice, and record the mix on
a connected tape deck-with echo.
Electronic 330 for
natural echo
Weve made the operation of our
reverb unit totally electronic. Using a
BBD (Bucket Brigade Device) ele-
ment. the RA-iOOO adds natural. Iow-
distortion reverberation to any pro-
gram material, including video sound.
I TWO reverb effects:
Echo and Duet
With echo on line, you can add
reverberation to the sound you hear
to simulate the acoustics of a vast
hall or intimate discotheque. The
duet effect. on the other hand.
makes a solo singer sound as if two
people were singing. The RA-iOOO
gives you a control over the delay
time to help you select the most
natural echo.
Color display pulsating
In sync with depth
As the dynamics fluctuate, so does
the colorful display on the front of
the PIA-1000. It expands and shrinks

and change colors in sync with the
beat of your music to create a visual
confirmation of what you hear.
2 mic (guitar) inputs for
mixing with audio Inputs
The RA~1000 has two inputs located
on the front panel for microphones
or guitars (or any other electronic
instrument). Reverberation can be
applied to either or both of the inputs.
You can move the source of your
voice or instrument anywhere be-
tween the stereo speakers-left.
right. or any intermediate location.
Moreover, you can mix the mic/guitar
sound with sound from a rear-
connected input (CD. record.
tape, radio) and play or record
the mix.
connections
Up to two tape decks can be con-
nected to the FiA-iOOO. You can dub
between the two decks in either
direction and even include reverb
effects in the recordings.

Because we use an electronic BBD
reverb unit, reverb is natural and noise
extremely low.
For enhanced sense of realism (or
just for fun), theres nothing like the
