SANSUI QRX-7500 FRONT PANEL INFORMATION
TUNE AND SIGNAL METERS
4-CHANNEL LEVEL METERS
Adiust the LEVEL SET control so that the
pointers or these meters will swing up to.
but not beyond the red numeral 25
TREBLE TONE CONTROLS _
Use to strengthen or weaken the set's
high~end response according to your per~
sonal Dreierence.etc. Turn them clockwise
to emphaSlze the highs.
BASS TONE CONTROLS -
Use in the same manner as the TREBLE
tone controls to boost or cut the sets low-
end response
POWER SWITCH
Push the POWER switch once to turn the
set on. once more to turn it on
HEADPHONE JACKS -
Accommodate two stereo headphone sets
Ior monltorlng or private listening. The
upper jack is tor the Iront channels. and
the lower one ior the rear. When listening
with headphones only. turn the SPEAKERS
switch to 'OFF'.
SPEAKERS SWITCH -_
Selects the speaker systems oi the iront
and rear channels.
OFF: To cut all the sound irom all speak.

FILTER SWITCHES
LOW: Use the LOW FILTER switchies) to

FRONT andor REAR LOW FILTER switches

as may be produced ov a turntable motor
HIGH: li high Irequency noise disturbes
you. push the mom and,or REAR HIGH
FlLTER switches. Surlace and other kinds
oi high Irequency noise will be reduced
BALANCE CONTROLS -
MAIN: Use to balance the tram and rear
channels. Turning this control counter
clockwrse Irom the center increases the
sound volume Irom the lront speaker sys
tems. while turning it clockwise increases
the sound volume trom the rear speaker
systems.
FRONT: Use to balance the rront Ielt and
right channels. Turning this control count
terclockwise train the center raises the
sound volume Irom the lelt speaker sys
tem. and turning it clockwise increases
Irom the right speaker system
REAR: Use in the same manner as the
FRONT BALANCE control to balance the
rear Ielt and right channels.

LOUDNESS SWITCH
Pushing this switch vhen listening at a
low volume level ac ents the lows and
highs properly to relder the reproduced
sound more realistic.

2-CH: To hear 2channe| stereo program
sources in stereo, utilizing your two tront
speakers only. Use this position also to
hear AM and FM mono broadcasts, mono
records and tapes.

gram sources to 4-channel stereo sound
Q5 REGULAR MATRIX: To decode and
reproduce Achannel program sources

PHASE MATRIX: To decode and re-
produce 4~channel program sources on-
coded with the CBS SQ matrix systemt
CD A DISCRETE: When Wishing to hear
discrete 4-channel tapes or CDrAtQuadra
dlSCl records. It IS necessary to operate
the 4 CH TAPE MONITOR switch or the
SELECTOR switch In addilion to setting
the FUNCTION control to the CD-eDIS»
CRETE position. When reproducing dis.
crete 4-channel CD4 (Quadradiscl records
switch the SELECTOR switch to either the
PHONO-l or PHONO 2 position,
FM MUTING OFF SWITCH
This switch. it not depressed. eliminates
the interstation noise commonly heard
when turning on the FM band. Should be
pushed to release the muting in on a weak
FM station.
TAPE MONITOR SWITCHES
Use to reproduce a recorded tape or to
monitor a recording that you are making
Push the one that governs the record,
playback circuit connecting the particular
tape deck in use at the moment. At all
other times. push it once more to restore
it to the normal positron.
CD-4 CARRIER LEVEI: control
CD-4 SEPARATION LEFT control
CD-4 SEPARATION RIGHT control
This control. used when playing discrete
4-channel CD-4 (Quadrodisc) records. lets
you carry out adiustments to Iacilitate
matching between the built-in CDVA de-
modulator and your turntable. For adjust-
ment procedures. reler to ADJUSTMENTS

SELECTOR SWITCH
Adjust to the program sources (except
tapei you wish to hear.
PHONO-l. 2: For playing records.
FM AUTO: For receiving FM stereo or
mono broadcasts. In this position. the
sets 05 Synthesizer Decoder be automatic
cally adjusted lor hetter FM reception,
AM: For receiving AM broadcasts.
AUX: To reproduce whatever program
source ls connected to the rear panel 4.
CHANNEL AUX -LOW or -H|GH inputs.
Whenever reproducing a 4rchannel dis-
crete source, be sure to set the FUNCTION
control to CD»4.DISCRETE.
