The Rotel RSP960 is an affordable, remote-controlled AN
preamplifier /surround sound processor. Featuring advanced
Dolby Pro the RSP960 delivers a truly convincing surround-sound
presentation for movie soundtracks or musical sources. And,
for even more physical impact, the RSP960 provides cross-
over and output circuitry for driving a subwoofer. I More
than just a high-performance surround sound processor. the
RSP960 also serves as an audiophile control center for your
entire audio/video system. Connections include three video
inputs (S-Video or composite) as well as an audio line input
and tape monitor for the easy addition of a CD player and
tape deck

I RSP980 THX surround processor I

The Rotel RSP980 provides all the the performance and
flexibility for a high-performance home theater system. It
starts with Dolby Pro Logic surround-sound decoding and
is further augmented by special EQ circuitry and THX cer-
tification that lets you hear a movies soundtrack exactly as
the director intended you to. I Five audio/video inputs
(composite and S-video) let you handle VCRs, laserDisc
players, DSS broadcasts, CD players, tuner, and tape decks
with case, while special Zone 2" audio outputs increase
your current systems flexibility. An on-screen display sim-
plifies set-up and calibration and a full-function remote
control lets you manage the system with ease. I Classic
Rotel audio circuitry features high precision metal film re-
sistors, low ESR capacitors, and high current operational
amplifiers. And a DBZS connector means you'll be able to
add Dolby Digital/AC6 at any time, now or in the future.

Combining Dolby ProLogic decoding with an AM/FM
tuner and dual-zone preamplifier, Rotels RTC970 makes
an impressive centerpiece for a home entertainment system.
The RTC970 decodes Dolby Pro Logic video sources
with precise all-analog circuitry to avoid the harshness com«
mon to most digital designs. A special Cinema Mode com
pensates for excessive high frequency energy in movie
soundtracks, while Music modes add progressive spacious-
ness to music. An on-scteen display makes initial set-up and
calibration easy. Theres even a connector for outboard
Dolby Digital/A03 processors like our RDA980. I You
can choose from four audio and four audio/video sources for
your main system while selecting a different one for else-
where in your home! And regardless of the source, your cars

We are ready for the future with the RDA980 Dolby AC-3
Digital Surround sound adaptor. This outboard processor
can be easily connected to the RSP980/RTC970 to decode
all 5.] channel digital signals from laser discs that are Dolby
AC-3 encoded. The future is digital and Rotel is ready.
