UNPACKING
Cartridge mourning screwe, counterweight, and
hinges lor duncover are packed inside the
nyroloerri molding. Platter and rubber mat are
packaged separately and placed benuth the
body of the unit.

POWER SUPPLY CONNECTION
For power the unit require! normal homer
hold current (AC). Simply plug the unit into a
wall outlet, or your amplifier's (or receivers)
convenience receptacle on the rear penelt If it
is plugged to a convenience receptacle marked
SWITCHED, you cannot operate the unit
when the power twitch on the emplilia or
receiver is set to OFF.
Note: The unit hat been fectoryidiuned to the
voltage at area it it shipped to. As a precau-
tion, however, locate the Voltage Selector

unit, and check to be sure the selector ll set to
the voltage or your area. If it is not, change the
eelector position, using a screwdriver.
INSTALLATION
To prevent hum, do not place the unit near
applianoet with motor; or large translormere.
Be ture the unit's location is not mbiect to
high temperature, humidity, or direct tunllght,
to prevent poulble troubles.
Vibration or tilted imllltion will impede
good performance of the turntable end the
stylus will elrip grooves.

II your unit comes with 3 Icons cable
without a plug, make certain live and
neutral leads are connected to the Drover
terminelt. Check that the terminals are
crowed down firmly and no loose strands
ol wire are present.
IMPORTANT: The wires in this main: lead
are coloured in eocordance with the iollow-
ing code:
BLU E: N EUTRAL
BHOWN: LIVE
A: the colours of the wirei in the mains lead
of this apparatus may not correspond with
the coloured markings identifying the
terminals in your plug proceed as Iollcwvs.
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be
connected to the termlnal which is marked
with the letter N or coloured BLUE or
BLACK. The wire which Is coloured
BROWN must be connected to the terminal
which is marked wlth the letter L or colour-
ed BROWN or RED.
CARTRIDGE INSTALLATION
The unit accepts a canridge ol 3 - 9 grams
weight. Install an appropriate cartridge unto
the headshell, using the screws, nutr, and
washer: mpptied for that purpose. If these
screw: do not fit your cartridge, uxe screw:
accompanying the cartridge or obtain the
proper one: commercielly. The lad wires ex-
tending from the headshell are colorrcoded, as
