INSTALLATION

Be sure to place the unit in a level and flat place
where it it tree lrorti humidity, Vibralol high
temperature and not exposed to direct sunlight.
Be careful not it) place the unil in a highly
enclosed piece such as near a wall or on e
hookshell. A poor ventilation will cause unde-
srrabie elfectt to the unit

POWER SUPPLY CONNECTION

For power the unit requires the normal houee
electricel current (ACI. Vou may simply plug
the unit into a well outlet, or into your ampli-
tter's (or recewer'sl convenience AC outlet.
CAUTION: Do not applv power without lim
making sure the proper connections ere com
pleted. It you live lfl U.l(. and your unit comes
wrth Z-cote cord wrthout a plug. be sure to read

CONNECTION TO INTEGRATED
AMPLIFIER OR RECEIVER

Two pairs ol RCA cords IDI LINE IN/OUT eit-

deck. The cord lrom the LINE IN terminals of
the deck should be plugged into the TAPE
MONITOR OUT termtnel ol the Impllfior or
recerver, and the cord (rum LINE OUT terminal

AUTOMATIC SH UTUFF SVSTEM

When either end at tape it reached in play,
record, Iest-lorwerd. or rewind mode. the
motor and transport mechanism will automati-
celly shut all. disengaging the present mode.
Note, however. that it is still necessary to turn
a" the entire unit by pressing the poet-r
switch to all.

port mechanism use ol large sin cassette tapes,
such as (2-120, is not recommended.

e Handle cassette tapes With care. Keep
them away lrom heat. circulating dusly or .1

tape. You cannot record on the side whose tab
has been removed. The tab can be removed
with a screwdriver, etc. ll you wish to record
an the side wnh no tab, place I piece ol adhe-
sive tape, llc. over the opening where the tab
has been, then you can record.

playback or recording. Check the tape belore
loading it into the deck. If it is slack, insert a
penal or the lxke into either olcamttes hubst
and rotate it carelully until the slack it taken
