unit and all its connections.

POWER SUPPLY CONNEC-
TION

For power the unit requires the
normal house electrical current
(AC). Vou may simply plug the
unit to a wall outlet, or to your
amplilier's (or receiver'si switched
or unswnched AC outlet. if it is
plugged to a swnched outlet, by
leaving the power swnch ol the
unit on, you Will be able to main-
tain switching control for the
cassette deck with your amplifier or
receiver. II it is connected to an
unswitched outlet, like connecting
to a wall outlet you must use the
cassettes own power switch lor
swuching control.

CAUTION A Do not apply power
Without first making sure the pro-
per connections are completed. II

comes with 2core cord without a
plug] be sure to read the exclusive

INSTALLATION

Be sure to place the unit in a level
and llat place where it is tree lrorn
humidity, Vib'allfln, high temper-
ature and not exposed to direct
sunlight.

CONNECTION TO RE-
CEIVER 0R AMPLIFIER

Connect Ihe units rear panel ter-
minal; to the TAPE MONITOR ter-
minals oi your amplifier, using
either the RCA cords or a single
DIN type record/playback cord.
The urlit's LINE IN terminals
should be connected to the TAPE
MONITOR OUT terminals of [he
amplilier, and the LINE OUT
termmals to the TAPE MONITOR
IN terminals ol the amplifier Be
certain to properly match right and
IBM terminals between components,
Do not attempt to connect the
RCA type cords when the DIN type
record/playback cord is used,

Note: Set the input selector switch
at the left position when DIN cord
is used, and at the right position
when RCA cord is used.

EXCLUSIVE NOTE FOR

If your unit comes with a 2-
core ceble without a plug, make
certain live and neutral leads
are connected to the proper
terminals. Check that the ter»
minels are screwed down lirmly
end no loose strands of wire
are present.

IMPORTANT: The wires in this
mains lead are coloured in
accordance with the lollowing
code:

BLUE: NEUTRAL
BROWN: LIVE

As the colours of the wires in
the mains lead 01 this apparatus
may not correspond with the
coloured markings identiiying
the terminals in your plug pro-
ceed as lollows.

The wire which is coloured
BLUE must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with
the letter N or coloured BLUE
or BLACK. The wire which is
coloured BROWN must be con-
nected to the terminal which is
marked with the letter L or
coloured BROWN or RED.
