Selbstverstandlich bestehen fILirAufstel»

dieselben Freiheiten wie fiir Monitor-
Standboxen. Deshalb ist die Beachtung
der folgenden Hinweise besonders Wich-

tig.

Aufstellung
Bei rundum freier Aufslellung in Regalen
Oder aulTablaren sind die Piccolo-Boxen
moglichst dichl mit der Rilckseite an die
Wand zu schieben.

Piccolo se compose d'un haul-parleur gra-
ve-médium avec chassis en metal léger

Disposition
Placées clans une espace libre sur une eta-
gere, l'enceinte Piccolo doit etre disposée
le dos appuyé contre la paroi.

Size is a relative thing and this applies

to loudspeakers as well. Does one really
have to resign to mediocre sound repro-
duction, only because one cannot accom-
modate or one does not want to use big
speakers? Certainly not!
The PICCO LO consists of a stron wooden
cabinet finished in flat black wit a perfo-
rated metal grille. It houses a rigid bass-
midra nge unilwilh aluminiUm dlecaslframe
plus a wide-dispersion dome type tweeter.
In short, a genuine REVOX speaker, yet
small in size.

The placement and operation of book-
shelf speakers follows different rules, of
course, and does not provide the same
freedom of placement as is the case with
large floor-standing monitor speakers. It is
important therefore to observe the follow-
ing simple rules.

Placement
If placed on open shelves without any
nearb obiects, the PICCOLO speakers
shoul be positioned as close to thewall as
possible. Inside a bookcase, however, the
speakers' front should be flush with the
books. Cavities around the speaker cabi-
net must be avoided. The speakers should
be so positioned that they are approxima-
tely at the height of the listener's ears.
