Konventionelle Tuner - Konstruktionen

ein Maximum an Verzerrungsfreiheit und
Stérunempfindlichkeit zu garantieren.
REVOX hat deshalb alle Konventionen
iiber Bord geworfen und den FM-Stereo
Tuner der dritten Generation entwickelt.
Der kompromisslos professionalle Aut-
bau enthalt irn Eingangsteil "Dual»Gate"
Feld-Effekt-Transistoren und eine 4-fach
DrehkorAbstimrnung, im ZF-Teil ein pas-
sives Gauss-Filter und einen vollsta'ndig
mit integrierten Schaltungen (1C) be-
stiickten Verstarker (5 MHz Bandbreite).
Der Demodulator arbeitet mit Laufzeit-
kabeln und besitzt ebenfalls eine Band-
breite von 5 MHz. Eine vom Pilotton
phasengesteuerte 76 kHzOszillator-Fre-
quenz wird digital geteilt und Iiefert die
Steuerfrequenz fiir den Schaltdernodul-
ator im Stereo~Decoden Hilfssysteme er-
moglichen eine regelbare Stummabstim

REVOX builds the tuner of the future...
The conventional design )tcepts for
tuners are not satisfactory any more if
one wants to reach the optimum in free-
dom from distortion and signal interfer-
ence. Therefore, REVOX have tossed
overboard traditional ideas and by des-
igning the third generation tuner they
have taken a whole leap forward.

The approach has been thoroughly profr
essional and without compromise. The
input section features dual gate field
effect transistors and quadruple variable
capacitor tuning, while the IF-strip con-
sists of a passive Gauss~Filter, followed
by an amplifier which is made up entir-
ely of Integrated Circuits (Bandwidth
5 MHzlt Delay-lines are employed for
demodulation without deteriorating the
five megahertz bandrwidtht A 76 kHz
oscillator runs phase-locked to the sub-
carrier and supplies ~after binary scaling-
the switching frequency to the stereo

Les Tuners de construction classique
sont insuffisants quand il sagit de gar
rantir on minimum de distorsion et une
sensibilité la plus faible possible aux
parasites. Cest pourquoi REVOX a rom-
pu avec toutes les traditions en de-
veloppant un Tuner de la troisieme
génération.

Cet appareil est sans compromis tech-
niques. ll est doté en entrée H.F. de
transistors a effet de champ "Mos Dual
Gate" et d'un circuit daccord quad~
ruple. Sa section moyenne lréquence
est constituée de circuits intégrés dont
Ia largeur de bande est de 5 MHz
associés a un filtre de Gauss passif.
Son démodulateur a également une lar»
geur de bande de 5 MHz. Il est du type
a ligne a retard. En stéréophonie Ia
fréquence 76 kHz de loscillateur local

permit silent tuning and effect automatic
stereo changeover, they trigger a visual
signal in the case of multipath recep-
tion and provide for the indication of
signal strength, centre tuning and the
presence of a stereo modulated carrier.
To describe the distortion- and noisefree
