DUAL-MONO CONSTRUCTION (DMC)

Two separate power supplies and two discrete
preamplifiers (on one chassis) give the widest
separation, the sharpest stereo imaging, and the most
accurate reproduction of acoustical space. Cross-
modulation effects are removed, for the highest
musical definition and most accurate instrumental
timbre.

AN ELECTRONIC CROSSOVER FOR A
SUBWOOFER

High-pass and low-pass outputs are always
active, and independent of the main preamp outputs.
The crossover frequency can be set to 75 or
150 hertz.

A HIGH-GAIN UNITIZED PHONO SECTION
FOR BOTH MOVING-MAGNET AND MOVING-
COIL PICKUPS

A newly-designed phono section, using ultra-low
noise FETS, has the high gain and low noise required
for moving-coil cartridges, without compromising
performance with moving-magnet designs. Gain is
switchable in three steps, for low- and high-output
moving coils, or regular moving-magnets. Load
capacitance can be adjusted for the flattest high-

frequency response.

Lets you listen to one source while recording
from another without having to move cables.

PRESENCE (MIDRANGE) TONE CONTROL

Tames an aggressive vocalist or brings forward a
reticent one. Makes a subtle adjustment in the
perspective of instrumental recordings.
