The CH1 and CH V keys on the remote control allow you to
:hoose a preset station from the memory 00-40.
The RDS key works the same way on the remote control as on the
ront panel.

WARRANTY AND SERVICE
Primare Systems provides a warranty to the first purchaser for a
period of one year that the Primare T 20 FM Stereo Tuner will work
perfectly. Primare Systems usually commissions the Primare
agency in the country in which the amplifier was purchased to
carry out any warranty work.
Following consent from Primare Systems in a particular case, the
warranty service may also be claimed at an agency in another
country.

Remove the T 20 and the powercord from the cardboard box.
Store all packing materials in a cool, dry place, and always use it
when transporting the tuner, Inspect the unit for shipping damage;
if any damage is evident, contact your dealer immediately If the
unit is in proper condition, proceed with installation.

PRECAUTIONS!
Always make sure that power is turned off before connecting or
disconnecting any inputs or outputs,
Do not expose audio components to excessive heat. cold, sunlight,
moisture or dust.
Make sure that the power voltage setting of the unit is correct for
your country.
POWER CONNECTION
The operating voltage of your T 20 tuner is shown on the back of
the unit just above the IEC mains power socket. The T 20 will
operate properly on i 10% of the set voltage, i.e. from 207 volts to
253 volts tor the 230 volt version.
CONNECTING TO CONTROL AMPLIFIER
Connect the audio outputs to the tuner inputs of your control
amplifier IMPORTANT! This connection must be made before the
power is switched on.

A 75 Ohm FM antenna should be connected to the antenna socket
on the back side of the tuner.

receive the station without noise.

OPERATION
SWITHING THE TUNER ON AND OFF
The mains switch is on the base plate at the front to the left under
the front plate. After the switch is activated, the display window lights
up for a short time and the tuner then switches to standby mode.
THE FUNCTION KEYS
STANDBY
To place the tuner in operating mode press the STANDBY key
once, Observe that the display lights up.
After use press STANDBY again. This turns the digital circuits off,
but leaves the analog circuits powered, For best possible
performance the standby mode should always be used.
UP/DOWN KEYS, TUNING
By giving the UP/DOWN keys a short press, you can increase or
decrease the frequency in 50 kHz steps. By keeping the UP/DOWN
keys pressed for more than 1 second. the tuner will start an
automatic search for the nearest station (with a strong enough
signal) and stop when it's found. The automatic search can be
stopped by giving the UP or DOWN key a short press. When
reaching the end of the scale, the frequency counter stops at 108.00
MHz for "UP" searching and at 87.50 MHz for DOWN" searching.
STORE (PRE-SET) STATIONS
The T 20 can store 41 stations (00-40). Tune in the desired station
(see under tuning), Press the STORE key until SEL CHAN
appears on the display. Press NEXT or PREVIOUS key until
yourdesired channel number is shown. Press the STORE key until
the display stops blinking. You have now stored the desired station
at your choice of channel. The pre-set will remain even if the unit is
without AC.
RDS
The T 20 has three different RDS functions. Toggle the RDS key to
change:
1. Name of the radio station.
2. Shows written information, from the radio station on the display.
2. PTY shows type of music program
