X-SSOD
The ultimate tour-channel stereo receiver, with total cap
Iity matrix decoding circuitry,
large powe output and built-in reverberation unit.
Four-channel ltnally comes at age with this verulile receiver
trorn Pioneer. an outstlnding achievement unusual in both
capability and tremendous power output. Featuring a unique
matrix decoding circuit. that reproduce: all regular matrix
records. as well u a second type at decoding circuitry tor
the SO matrixed type at records. the (IX-9900 is simply the
most complete receiver lor tour-channel novr available today
In addition to its matrix decoding capability. the 0X-9900 may
also be used lot dllcreta tourechannel reproduction as well
as more conventional twcrchannel reproduction. lu FM tuner
characteristics are equally superb. distinguished by excellent
sensitivity at 1.8 V (INF), a wide linear FM dial scale. and
superb selectivity at more than TDdB (lHF). There are no less
than six easy~to-read meters contained in the cit-9900. tour
level indicator; tor judging the signal output to each channel,
a signal strength mater and center tuning meter tor pinpoint
FM tuning. The receiver's high standards at versatility are
lurlhar exemplified by its built-in reverberation amplitteri
which permits reverberated sound to be selectively added to
either tront or rear speakers. or microphone And because

LINEAR F" DIAL SCALE AND TWO METER TUNING SYSTEH
The FM dial scale at the OX~9900 is the extramrde linear type
that enables precuse selectlvrly at all FM statrons. This out-
standing selectivity is enhanced even more by the rtICluSlUfl
ot a pair OI easytorrcud meters one the signal strength type
the other the center tunrng typo which add immensely to
precrsn station tuning at all tunes

IF SECTION WITH CERAMIC FILTERS
Ceramic tillers are utilized in both the AM and FM SFCTIWN
ol the OX»9900 to suppress undesirable norse and Inter-starter!

Moreover in the FM IF section, ICS (integrated Circuilsl are
employed to ensure tine selectiwty at more than 7005 INFr
and excellent capture ratio at 2d8 lIHFl
