ITURNTABLE FEATURESI

I LINEAR TRACKING TONEARM WITH
LOW-NOISE DIRECT-DRIVE MOTOR

The linear type tonearm tracks the record grooves in the
same tangential way in which the record was originally cut,
providing faithful sound reproduction. An electronically
controlled linear servo motor directly moves the tonearm
to constantly maintain its perpendicular tracking angle.

I UNIVERSAL HEADSHELL CONNECTOR
MAKES CARTRIDGE CHANGES EASY

The tonearm has a universal headshell connector to let you
use any standard cartridge on the market.

I LOW MASS STRAIGHT-LINE POLYMER-
GRAPHITE TONEARM ENHANCES
TRACKING CHARACTERISTICS

The tonearm pipe is made of polymer-graphite to provide
both high rigidity and outstanding damping characteristics.
The headshell uses a composite carbon fiber material to
achieve an extremely low mass. Because the entire tonearm
mass is centered in one point, tracking stability is excellent
in both planes.

I CORELESS MOTOR WITH SH ROTOR
PROVIDES SMOOTH, STABLE DRIVING
FORCE

The coreless motor eliminates cogging, a major cause of

speed deviations, and the SH rotor bearing construction

lowers the center of gravity in the rotating section to assure
highly stable operation.

I QUARTZ PLL SERVO CONTROL FOR
ROTATIONAL PRECISION

A PLL system with a highly accurate and stable quartz

oscillator maintains a consistent rotational precision regard-

less of tracking forces, groove modulations or arm-type

record cleaners.

tions should be read before the appliance is operated.

RETAIN INSTRUCTIONS - The safety and operating instruc-

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

I AUTOMATIC LEAD lN
Automatically places the tonearm stylus in the lead in

groove of the record when PLAYBACK START/STOP
switch is depressed.

I AUTOMATIC REPEAT
When this switch is depressed, the record is automatically

played over again until the REPEAT PLAYBACK switch is
depressed again.

I AUTOMATIC RETURN/AUTOMATIC CUT

At the end of record play, the tonearm is automatically
returned to the arm rest. Depressing the PLAYBACK
START/STOP switch during playback automatically
returns the tonearm to the arm rest at that point.

I MANUAL/REMOTE TONEARM OPERATION

The linear tracking tonearm may be operated manually
or by remote control switch for offset tonearm turntable
convenience.

I QUICK PLAY/QUICK STOP
Fast turntable platter start up and stop.

I ARM ELEVATION MECHANISM

Operating ARM ELEVATION SWITCH gently lifts the
tonearm from the record groove for temporarily stopping
playback, or for starting playback in the middle of a record.

I HIGH-OUTPUT MOVING-COIL (MC)
CARTRIDGE

Amplifier or preamp may be used in the moving-magnet
(MM) cartridge position. No special MC transformer
needed.
