The PL-SIOA is a high precrsion direct drive turntable designed
for incorporation into a component type stereo music system.
It is recommended that you read these Operating Instructions
completely before using the turntable.

PL-51OA FEATURES

DC Servo Motor Direct Drive System

A control circuit consisting of three Hall effect semiconductors
precisely detects position and regulates motor winding current of
the brushless DC motor. Together with the precision machined
high-inertia platter, this ensures superb rotational characteristics,
including SN ratio of more than 68dB (DlN-B) and wow and
flutter of less than 0.03% (WRMS).

Automatic Control Circuit and Precise Speed Adjustment

Motor rotation is maintained at a constant rate by an electronic
control circuit. This assures precise and stable operation without
influence from fluctuations in power supply voltage, ambient
temperature or humidity. lndependent speed adjustment controls
are provided for 334/3 and 45 rpm, together with a stroboscope
inscribed on the outer rim of the platter. By observing the
stroboscope as it is illuminated by the built-in strobe light, precise
speed adjustment can be performed in the range oi t2%.
