Turn the power on.

After the power is turned on, the dotted lines in the level
meter flash for approximately 4 seconds until the circuits
of the unit have Stabilized. The unit will not operate during
this time even it one of the operation buttons is pressed.

9 COUNTER selectors

RESET:

Reset: the counter indication to "0000."

MODE:

- Remaining time counter (displays the remaining time of
the tape)

o TAPE CAPACITY selector

To indicate the correct time value in the remaining time

This button is used In the tape counter mode to last forward
or rewind the tape to a point near the counter reading
0000".

6 DOLBY NR selectors

Dill/OFF:

Used to turn the Dolby NR system circuits ON or OFF.
BIC:

with the ON/OFF switch in the ON position, Dolby B or C
can be selected with this switch.

0 MPX FILTER switch
This switch is effective only during recording with Dolby NH.

0 REC LEVEL control

9 REC BALANCE control
