Additional Laser Caution
I. The ONIOFF Itatuees of the side-A15 detection switch
(TURN switch on the TNSB easy ), slider-position detection
switches (INNER and OUTER an the PKSB easy) and
loading-Item: detection switches (SW 1. 2 end :I on the
LMSB any) are detected by the microproceesor (ICIOt in
the MAIN essy). To penn'n the laser diode to oscillate. it is
required to set the eide-AIB detection switch lor side A
status ITRN : OFF) and the slider-position detection
switch for the LD ACTIVE status (INNER : OFF. OUTER :
OFF). end to set the loading-status detection switches for tilt
neutral state (SW1 : OFF. SW2 : OFF. SW3 : ON ). As long
as these requirements ere not satisfied. the laser diode will
not oscillate. When the requirements are met in any way. the
laser diode can oscillate. The Inser diode oscillation will
continue it pin III at [Clot in shorted to GND or the emitter
and collector of 0334 are ohoned each other (leult
condition I in MAIN easy.
In the test mode * . the laser diode oscillates when the
microprocessor detect: I PLAY signal. or when the PLAY
Itey it messed ($108 ON in the FLKY any. with the above
requirements tidied.
2. When the cover is open. close viewing through the objective
Ions with the nnhed eye wIII cause exposure to a Class 1
laser beam.
