Please read through these operating instructions so you will know how to operate your model
properly. After you have finished reading the instructions, put them away in a safe place for

future reference.

operating the unit is the same.

LINE VOLTAGE SELECTOR SWITCH

Only multi-voltage models are provided with this switch.
U.S., Canadian. European, U.K., and Australian models
are not provided with this switch. Mains voltages in Saudi
Arabia are 127V and 220V only. Never use this model with
110V setting in Saudi Arabia.

The line voltage selector switch is on the rear panel, Before your
model is shipped from the factory, this switch is set to the power
requirements of the destination. Check that it is set properly
before plugging the power cord into the AC wall socket. If the
voltage is not properly set or if you move to an area where the
voltage requirements differ, adjust the selector switch as follows.

1. Use a medium-size screwdriver.

2. insert the tip of the screwdriver into the groove on the
voltage selector, and adjust so that the tip of the arrow
points to the voltage level of your area.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

operating instructions should be read before the
appliance is operated.

LOCATION - The appliance should be installed in a
stable location.

connected to a power supply only at the type
described in the operating instructions or as
marked on the appliance.

POWER-CORD PROTECTION - Power-supply
cards should be routed so that they are not likely
to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon
or against them, paying particular attention to
cards at Plugs, convenience receptacles, and the
point where they eXll from the appliance.

POLARIZATION - li your purchased product is
provided with a polarized power plug, please read
the Iollowing instructions, This product is
equipped with a polarized alternating current line
plug (a plug having one hlade wider than the
other). This plug will lit into the power outlet only
one way. This is a saiety leature, It you are unable
to insen the plug lully into the outlet. try reversing
the plug. lithe plug should still tail to iit, contact
your electrician to replace your obsolete outlet.
Do not deleat the saiety purpose of the polarized
plug.

CLEANING -The appliance should be cleaned only
with a polishing cloth or a soft dry cloth. Never

OUTDOOR ANTENNA GROUNDING - If an out-

srde antenna is connected to the antenna termi-
nal, be sure the antenna system is grounded so as
to provide some protection against voltage surges
and built up static charges.
In the USA section BIO OI the National Elec-
trlcal Code, ANSI/NFFA NO, 704984. provides
information with respect to proper grounding ol
the mast-and supporting structure. grounding ol
the lead-In wire to an antenna discharge unit, size
or grounding conductors, location oi antenna-
discharge unit, connection to grounding Elena
trodes, and requirements (or the grounding elec-
trode. See Fig. A.

to thetermlnal which is marked with the letter L or
coloured red.
