Subject Function of Heat-up Protection Circuit
Object : DVD-LV60/PV40
Models DVD-LA95, DVD~LV65ILV50, DVDuLX9, DVD-LSS, DVD-PS3
Symptom : Unit turned off automatically.
Cause : Heat-up protection circuit activates as it becomes too hot (70 deg. C or higher),
and unit will not work or it will turn off automatically.
The possible causes and remedies are as follows.
1) The unit is used under the condition that is hotter than 50 deg. C.
< Remedy >
* Use the unit between 5 deg. C (41F) and 35 deg. C (95F).
(Refer to the "Troubleshooting Guide" page in operating instructions of respective models.)
2) Malfunction of the protection circuit.
< Confirmation Method & Remedy >
* Check both ends of thermistor in reference to the table below.
And replace a proper part if the value did not match up to the table's one.

Above meaning is the periphery temperature of thermistor will become 45 deg.C
