Allgemelnes

Die neuen halbautomatischen HiFi-Plattenspieler von NORDMENDE
zeichnen sich durch ihre moderne technische Konzeption aus. Aus-
balancierterS-f'ormiger Tonarm. reibungsgedampfterTonarmlift. Anti-
skating-Einrichtung und Stroboskop-Drehzahlkontroile sind gemein-
same Merkmale. Sie unterscheiden sich im wesentlichen in der
unterschiedlichen Antriebsart.

RP 1050 belt drive

Dieser HiFi-Plattenspieler hat Riemenantrieb. Ein elastischer Flach-
riemen Ubertr'agt dieAntriebskraftdes Motors aufden Plattenteller. Die
DrehzahlwahlunddieDrehzahifeineinstellung erfoigtelektronischund
ist mit der Stroboskopeinrichtung kontrollierbar.

RP 1100 direct drive

Der Antrieb des Plattentellers erfolgt bei diesem HiFi-Plattenspieier
ohne zusétzliche Ubertragungselemente direkt mit der Achse eines
extrem ruhigen Gleichstrommotors. Die Achse des Motors ist also
gleichzeitig die Plattentellerachse. Diese Technik und die elektro-
nische Motorsteuerung gewahrleisten SpitzenwertefiirGieichiaufund
Rumpeiverhalten.

Technical description

General

The new semi-automatic HiFi record players from NORDMENDE are
notable for their modern technical conception. Balanced S-shaped
tone-arm, friction damped tone-arm lift. anti-skating compensator and
stroboscopic rotation speed control are common features. They differ
mainly in the type of drive employed.

RP 1050 belt drive

This HiFi record player has belt drive. An elastic flat belt transfers the
driving force of the motor to the turntable. Rotational speed selection
and fine adjustment of speed are carried out electronically and are
checked by a stroboscopic arrangement.

RP 1100 direct drive

The turntable drive of this HiFi record player is carried out without any
intermediate transfer elements. The turntable is directly coupled to the
axle of an extremely quiet DC motor. The axle of the motor is simul-
taneously the turntable axle. This technique and the elctronic motor
control system guarantees peak values for low wow. flutter and rumble
ratios.
