receiver added to the line since the
publication of the original CPS-592
service manual, All information
unique and pertinent to this modelis
included in this manual,

The schematic diagram inthis man-
ual has been up-dated to include all
chassis coding changes from B-OO
thru D-O7, When servicing a chassis
coded prior to 13-00, refer to the
schematic diagram in the original
TS-592 service manual.

VHF tuner, TT-409, used in some
TS-592 chassis is interchangeable
with tuner TT-394. All unique in-
formation for the JCT-409 tuner is

NOTE: When aligning VHF tuner,
TT-409, Step No. 4 (Neutralization

Remove R- 806, 220K bleeder resistor from power supply.
Omit R-zoo, 47K and replace with 22K, 1/2 watt

Remove two (2) VDR varistors in power supply,

Replace diodes 15-802 and E-803 in power supply with new

Install lingering spot circuit, See schematic diagram {or changea

Replace Q-6, AIL transistor with AZT, Part No. 485134970.

Heat sink added to 151: video amplifier (0-4), Part Number

R- 115 (1.2K). 3rd IF B+ resistor changed to 1.8K.

Spot killer transistor (3'26 (AZT or A3T) replaced with 4853,

Diode E-SDI replaced with Part Number 48$191AO9.
0-4, Video amplifier transistor, replaced with AZT, 4970,

3.3 ohm, 5%, I watt resistor installed in high voltage rectifier
