RECORD CHANGER CONTROLS

SPEED SELECTOR . . . The setting of
the speed selector determines the
speed at which the records are played.
It should be set to correspond with the
speed of the records.

RECORD SIZE SELECTOR ...The
record size selector adjusts the record
changer for various size records. This
control should be set to correspond
with the size of the records to be
played.

REJ-ON-OFF . . . The rej-on-off
control is a multi-function control. It
is used to turn the phonograph on or
off, to reject a partly played record
and to start the automatic change
cycle.

with the type of records being played.

STYLUS REPLACEMENT

1, Lift tone arm up so stylus and
cartridge are visible; tone arm will feel
hard to lift, this is normal and due to a
built-in spring latch.

2. Rotate stylus to the 78 RPM
position.

3. Grasp stylus with fingers and with a
gentle motion, twist stylus so the tip
end raises up and the rear portion
snaps out from under the retaining
clip.

4. Hold new stylus with fingers and
snap rear portion of stylus under
retaining clip; be sure tip of stylus
rests in "V" of cartridge.

Figure). To raise the tone arm, turn
this screw counterclockwise. To lower
the tone arm, turn clockwise.

The pickup height of tone arm should
be adjusted so that with a .510" stack
of records on the turntable the tone
arm lifts 1/8" straight up as the change
cycle starts.

STYLUS LANDING .. . This ruggedly
built changer has been carefully tested
and adjusted; however, it may be
necessary to adjust the stylus landing
position. if stylus falls off record, lift
tone arm, turn index screw on tone
arm support (see illustration) a small
amount until the stylus lands in the
correct position.
