LINE CORD REVERSAL - For mini-
mum hum, insert line cord plug in
both positions, Leave in the position
that provides minimum hum.

OPERATING AMPLIFLER WITH
LOAD - Always operate the ampli-
fier chassis with an output load
(either the speaker or an 8 ohm
resistive load).

CHASSIS REMOVAL

1. From rear of cabinet, remove

four (4) screws along rear ofhandle

and four (4) screws across cabinet
back.

2. Remove two (2) control knobs.
Carefully pull cabinet front forward
and remove three (3) screws which
secure chassis to cabinet front,

3. If necessary, disconnect all
cables (speakers, etc,).

RECORD CHANGER REMOVAL

1. Open Chang e r drawe r: to ope rating
position.

2. Screw changer hold down screws
(clockwise) fully into record changer
base.

3. Remove metal plug from right
side wall of record changer com-
partment. Insert a screw driver
in the hole and position retaining
clip in a vertical plane.

4, Lift right side of changer up and
position the other retaining clip in
a vertical plane.

5. Lift up changer and disconnect

audio and power cables from changer
base plate.

STYLUS REPLACEMENT
To Remove Stylus

1. Lift tone arm to a vertical posi-
tion.

2. Rotate the stylus selector to the
78RPM position,

3. Grasp stylus Withfingers andwith
a gentle motion twist stylus so the
tip end raises and the rear portion
snaps out from under the retaining
clip.

To Replace Stylus

1. Lift tone arm to a Vertical posi-
tion.

2, Holding new stylus in position
with fingers, snap rear portion of
stylus under the retaining clip.

3. Be sure stylus rests in "V" of
cartridge; then return tone arm to
normal position,

CARTRIDGE REMOVAL

1. Pull metal retaining clipforward

STYLUS REPLACEMENT

and carefully remove cartridge from
holder.

2. Disconnect two (2) phonograph
leads from rear of cartridge.
