Adjustment Procedures

The re-nlignment may he required due to the prohahle deviation in the measurements of the cartridge and
disc employed although the complete alignment is already made at the factory side.

(1) height adjustment of Arm-Lifrer
a. Set the disc sucked and put the unit into the playback mode.
it. Loosen the fixing screw for arm-lifter, and adjust the height so that the clearance hetween the
stylus tip and surface of the disc could he procured hy shout 6-»smm.
Remarks: proceed this alignment so that the LaneAam should not he hooked by the amrtest.

Adiustment of SW-07 Main Cam SW

ms alignment is needed in the "play" mode when the charge lever cannot he opened sufficiently or the lever
is going to shut again causing irregular noise or preventing the platter from turning due to the touch of
lever shaft to the platter.

As the pivot of the main can actuator is eccentric, you can change the timing of the swam hy turning the
pivot with a m screw driver.

Adjust the main can! actuator so that [he more: can stop when [he chaxgz lever is in {he at most open status
by pushing the v.0.s, on switch (swuz).

however, as the pivot of main can actuator plays the circular movvmsnt there are two points having the same
timing hetween the main cam and main cam actuator.

Be sure of choosing the very position which pushes the su-m more than the other,

After adiustment, do not forget to put glue,

Explanation About Transistors

q 11-1 zscsas
This operates to oancel not the set signal to he led to v3.5. off rLlperLop circuit hut the set signal
to v.n.s. on FLIPrFLDP circuit exrent in the case that the toncarn is put on the arm rest position hy
the tonearm position detecting snitch 09.

0 lat: 25(2945
This Operate [a canoe] the output Coming from "V,D.S. ar/off" FLIP-FLOP circuit so that the ViD.S. mots!
should not rotate exrapt when the toneann is at the arm rest by the tonearm dctettor switch 09.
While when the "VrD.S. off" FLIP-FLOP circuit is set on, the v.o.s. operation starts after the tonearn get
hack to are rest position.
--~ ihis transistor is adopted so that the platter should not be merhanically locked ever if "v.9.s. on/off"
hutton is switched on while playing.

Q 14 25c945
When the tonearm left from the am rest, the output of v.1)is. oil/off FLIP/FLOP circuit is cancelled by Q 13»z.
While the tonesrm is placed at the arm rest, v.1).s. operation completes. this transistor works to cancel this
blocking signal until the V.D.S. operation is achived.
