Thank you for purchasing the P0277

The P0277 is an automatic disc player using a Brushless
8i Slotless DC Servo Motor Direct-Drive system. Slots are
completely removed to eliminate unevenness of rotation
caused by electromagnetics, and further provided is a turn-
table platter of high inertia with which the large mass of
platter weight is distributed around the outer contour, thus
realizing excellent Wow & Flutter characteristics and stable
rotation.

For the tonearm, a straight type is adopted to eliminate
resonance caused by lack of solidity which tends to be
found on the tonearm exclusively designed for high-com-
pliance type cartridge. The root portion of the tonearm
is of double-pipe structure to strengthen anti-resonance
measures. Further, the cartridge shell is integrated to the
tonearm, thus the resonance is suppressed down to the
minimum.

The most salient feature of the P0277 is the Automatic
Function. Unlike conventional automatic players, pure
electronic tonearm operation system with an exclusive
motor for tonearm provide quite smooth operation of the
tonearm without sacrificing its inherent quality. The
automatic function is not only convenient but protects
records or cartridge stylus from accidental misuse.
