Features:
Totally directcoupled amplifier circuitry at the
power amp section with dual rail power supply
offers a high damping factor at the ultra bass range
to ensure eliicient driving of loudspeakers. To
reduce the crossover distortion down to the
minimum level, a thorough complementary
configuration is employed at the output stage by
means of PNP and NPN transistors. while the
driver transistors have extremely good heat-
dissipation to ensure high dependability.
Transistors having high cut-oil lrequency are used
in the driver stage to help reduce distortion in the
treble range.
SpeCially selected low noise transistors and resistors
in conjunction with low leakage type electrolytic
capacitors realize good S/N ratio.
The 2stage equalizer amps using PNP and NPN
transistors not only offer outstanding linearity but
handle sufficiently high input voltage (ISOmV,
tkl-(z. RMS).
LUX's well-known NF type tone controls are
provided independently for both right and tell
channels and make it possible to tailor reproduced
sound according to y0ur own state. At the center-
click point a true flat frequency response is obtained.
A highcut filter is prowdad to remove unpleasant
tape hiss. disc scratch horse etc.. while subsonic
filter is uselul to get rid of all the bad effects at
turntable rumble and intrasonic disc noise. A
loudness control is employed for proper
compensation at low level at listening. 2 pairs of
tape monitor circuits permit dubbing from one
tape to another.
The speaker selector allows you to drive either A
and 8 speakers separately or both of them
simultaneously
