From twochannel SACD: press the SACD/CD button TWO (2) times to enable CD. A 30second delay becomes apparent before the CD play mode begins with either of the above. 3. To access the SACD layer from the conventional CD layer of the hybrid disc press the STOP button and wait for the track number total to appear. Press the SACD/CD button TWO (2) times to enable the SACD layer. The disc begins playing the multichannel tracks. Press the SACD/CD button THREE (3) times to enable the SACD layer. The disc begins playing the multichannel tracks. Make sure that a halfsecond interval is used when pressing the SACD/CD button. Rapid action on any of the front panel buttons caninterrupt playback or alter the direction of the command. The SACD Standard defaults to CD when a conventional CD or CDR disc is installed. The display reads CDDA and automatically starts to play. A hybrid disc always begins with the multiCh SACD tracks, never on the traditional CD layer.
