Changing Sources. To change to another source press and rel ease the MR64 keypad INPUT button fol lowed by the UP or DOW N button to scrol l through the four sources unti l the desi red source i s displaye d on the M R64 display. T he amplifie r fo r this room will t hen switch to this source. To change sources in this room only from the RB8 remote control si mpl y press the 1, 2, 3 or 4 button to di rectl y go to the desi red source. Volume Up and Down: To adjust the volume up or down (al ways) fi rst press the MR64 VOL button then qui ckly press the UP or DOW N button unti l the desi red changed vol ume l evel is reached on the MR64. Hol ding the button gi ves conti nuous changes. After the UP or DOW N button has been rel eased the MR64 keypad may display the current rel ative vo lume setting of lo w, mi d, hi gh etc. To change the vol ume usi ng the RB8 remote press the UP or DOW N button unti l the desi red changed vo lume le ve l is reached on the M R64. Ho lding the button gi ves conti nuous changes. After the UP or DOW N button has been rel eased the MR64 keypad may di spl ay the current rel ative vol ume setti ng of low, mi d hi gh etc. Mute: Momentari ly press the M keypad or RB8 remote MUTE button. The LCD d isplay will displ ay: R64 utton ill Po wer: sw itches room of f or whol e hou se of f(pr ess for 5 se conds) To restore the sound press the MUTE, UP or DOWN button on the MR64 keypad or RB8 remote and the source sel ected when the mute button was fi rst pressed and the fo rmer vo lume le ve l is restored. Turn Room Off: Mome ntarily press the MR64 keypad OFF b or RB8 remote POWER button. The M R64 will d isplay: If any o ther room wa s turned on, o nly t his room will shut off a nd other rooms will n ot be affe cted. I f this was the onl y room turned on si nce the system was first turned on, then the whol e system will s hut off a nd the M R64 will d isplay a fe w s econds la ter: Sources may have to be turned off manually or by remote. ALL System Commands The AL L button i s used to change the whol e house vol ume (onl y for rooms al ready turned on), sel ect one source for al l rooms or turn al l rooms off. All commands are from the MR64 keypads onl y and cannot be done from the remote control . ♦To change al l rooms to the same source, thi s room must be l isteni ng to a source fi rst. Press the AL L button, qui ckly press the INPUT button then the UP or DOW N button unti l the desi red source i s displaye d on the LCD d isplay. All o f the rooms will b e now be pl ayi ng that source at about 30% vol ume. Note: Be very careful when turning up the whole house volume. The volume levels incr ease together , but r ooms with their volume already set high may damage equipment when their volume is increased . ♦To change the whol e house vol ume, thi s room must be l isteni ng to a source fi rst. Press the AL L button, quickly press the VOL button then the UP or DOWN button until t he desired vo lume in all r ooms is achieved. P lease note all r ooms will n ot necessarily be at the same vo lume as some ma y h ave in itially been at a hi gher or l ower vol ume and had the vol ume changed from that poi nt. The whol e house vol ume changes more gradual ly than when changi ng individual room vol umes. ♦To turn the whole home system off (except for sources), press the AL L button then qui ckly press the OFF button. The whol e system will s tart its turn off procedure. The LCD ke yp ad w displ ay: Another way to achi eve turni ng the whol e system off is to press the MR64 OFF button for about 5 seconds. To turn the whol e home system off from the RB8 remote control , press the POWER button for about 5 seconds.
