IR25s can be mixed and matche d in larger systems with up to 10 infrared receivers, such as the Knoll IR21, IR22 or IR10. 5. To wire the system together, connect the IR25 12V , GND and SIG termi nals to the correspondi ng IR54 or IR55 termi nal. Prepare the wire leads to and fr om the IR25 by stripping about ¼ of the insulation from each of the three l eads. Twi st the strands ti ghtl y together so that they do not sti ck out of the connector and cause a short circuit. Strictly observe polarity. If you are connecti ng wi th the RJ45 connector you may need a RJ 45 parallelin g st rip t o parallel con nect the w ires f rom mu ltiple IR receivers. 6. Next, pl ug the si ngl e or dual emi tters i nto the IR54 or IR55 connecti on bl ock. IR25 system typical layout 7.
