The purpose of this manual is to
acquaint you with the operating features
of your new turntable. You will notice
that in every detail of planning, engineer-
ing, styling. operating convenience, and
adaptability. we have sought to anticipate
your needs and desires.
We suggest that you read this manual
carefully. Knowing how to set up your
turntable to the best advantage, will
enhance your listening pleasure right from
the start. You will also become aware of
the ease with which you can adjust your
turntable to meet your special require-
ments.

NOTES
LINE VOLTAGE
In every district there is its own combination of power supply
voltage and frequency. This unit is shipped after it has been preset to
the condition in destination. However, if it should deviate from the
required setting, then it must be rearranged by use of the AC voltage
selector switch and the extra pulley in accordance with the following
information:
ADJUSTING TO YOUR LINE FREQUENCY
An extra pulley and screwdriver are supplied with all turntables
shipped to certain areas where both 50 and 60 Hz AC power is available,
so that the pulley that matches the line frequency can be used. They
are not supplied with turntables shipped to areas where only 50 H2 or
60 Hz AC is available.
1. Remove the line plug from the AC outlett

The AC voltage can be switched over always after pulling off the
AC plug from the wall outlet (Fig. 1).

PRECAUTIONS CONCERNING INSTALLATION
Close attention to the following installation hints will help you to
get best performance from this turntable.
0 Install the turntable in a perfectly horizontal position on a firm
foundation that is free from vibration.
O Avoid locations that are subject to direct sunlight, and those
adjacent to heaters or stoves.
0 Best performance may not be obtained in extremely cold, freez-
ing temperatures.
0 Avoid damp locations and places where there is no ventilation.
o It is advisable to keep the turntable as far away from the speakers
as possible to prevent howling and feedback problems.

SERIAL NUMBER
Record your SERIAL NUMBER on the spaces designated on the
warranty card. You will find the serial number on the back of the unit.
